The Oakhaven Ten Mile New Forest Trail Run 20 November 2022

Race open for bookings

10 mile New Forest trail run in aid of Oakhaven Hospice, fully marshalled using part of the woodland route of previous Oakhaven Half Marathons.

The Oakhaven race is back for 2022, with a brand new 10 mile race length starting and finishing at a race village out in the Forest near Brockenhurst.

This year's race starts and finishes in the heart of the Forest at Roundhill Campsite. The campsite is directly on the route of the race - this year for the first time all our facilities will be next to the start and finish line.

Join us for a scenic trail run taking in the scenic New Forest paths near Brockenhurst. This event has evolved from the Oakhaven Half, and we hope it will appeal to participants of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.

Chip timed forest trail run

This chip-timed race will begin at 10:30am, starting and finishing at Roundhill Campsite, forming a circuit through the surrounding forest on part of the former Oakhaven Half Marathon route. Marshals will be on hand to guide you along the way and offer water stations during your run.

100% of profits from this race go to Oakhaven

Registration fees £25 for non-affiliated runners or £23 affiliated
All finishers will receive a medal and prizes will be awarded to the top 3 men and the top 3 women. It would be fantastic if you could raise extra funds for Oakhaven by asking your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you.

Race entries are now open

Event bookings will go live on Friday 1st April when you will be able to sign up online via this website.

We'll email previous runners with an update when entries open at the end of March. In the meantime please put the date in your diary and look out for the email announcing the opening of bookings

In the meantime if you have any questions, please email Alicia on alicia.poulson@oakhavenhospice.co.uk.

The route is subject to final permissions expected from the local authorities shortly. Should it not be possible to use this route we will endeavour to negotiate an alternative, however if we are unable to achieve this, the event will go ‘virtual’.

We hope you can join us and run 10 miles on 20th November in support of your local hospice, helping us to continue making every moment matter for those we care for in our community.

Best wishes
